5 INTENSIVE WEEKS AT DRH LINDERSVOLD IN DENMARK

DRH Lindersvold offers a short course lasting 5 weeks for people interested in getting hands-on experience with theatre production.

If you are interested in securing a spot on the team, please contact us now – see below.

What is it?

The Theatre Course is an intensive project where the participants will get together to rehearse and perform a contemporary theatre piece. The play is a modern play about a relevant issue of our time – something to do with the climate crisis / social justice / solidarity politics. The course will be done in a “learning by doing” fashion – not so much theorising and discussion – more practical action and finding solutions together.

The last week of the course is spent on tour, performing for different types of audiences in Denmark.

When and where?

30 May – 3 july 2022

The Theatre Course takes place at the Lindersvold learning centre. Here, participants live, study and work together for five super intensive weeks. DRH Lindersvold is situated in beautiful countryside an hour’s journey from Copenhagen in Denmark. For two decades DRH Lindersvold has trained development instructors who have prepared themselves to contribute to community projects in African countries. Drama production is one of many untraditional pedagogical methods the school has used to give participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in a subject.

Gert Tjoelker will be teaching / directing.
